The Map
I sit with your operation: the tools, the data, the handoffs, the parts everyone quietly works around. Then I come back with a ranked list of what’s worth building, what to buy instead, and what to leave alone. It is a fixed price, quoted before we start, and the document is yours whatever you decide to do next.
Sometimes the answer is that you don’t need me
What to build, what to buy, what to skip
Yours to keep either way
Who it’s for
Leaders who know this matters and don’t want a roadmap sold to them by someone who has never watched their team work.
What it looks like
- +Working sessions with the people actually doing the work
- +A ranked list with the effort and the payoff on each item
- +Build vs. buy calls on anything you’re currently evaluating
- +A proof of concept on the top item when that’s the cheapest way to settle it
What you end up with
- →A short list of things actually worth doing
- →Confidence to say no to vendor pitches
- →A document you own, whoever ends up building from it
Before you ask
The practical stuff.
How long does it take?
One to two months, depending on the size of the business and how many people I need to sit with. The price is a fixed number, quoted before we start, so the timeline moving does not move what you pay.
Do we have to build it with you?
No. It’s yours. Build it with me, hand it to your own developer, or sit on it for a year. A fair amount of what ends up on the list is not work for me anyway.
What if the answer is that we don’t need much?
Then that’s the answer, and you paid a known number to find it out early rather than discovering it halfway through a build. Sometimes the answer is that you don’t need me.
